In short: Small and challenging race with great atmosphere.
In full: Very well organised, free parking, clear directions and plenty of marshalls. There were less than 100 runners however there was a great atmosphere generated by the enthusiasm of both the crazy warm up lady and the very friendly organiser. We all started the race smiling; I really enjoyed the event. The run was a challenge every step, starting with a continuos 3k incline, than through woods and finally down a steep chalky path. The field was mixed abilities so there was competition (or company) for all if wanted. I travelled 25 miles to this event and thought it worth the effort, money going to a good cause too. My only dissapointment was no free food (bottled water was provided) at the end, i do not carry money whilst running so had to beg some candyfloss to keep me going.

In short: Very enjoyable 20K.
In full: It is clear a lot of effort went into preparing for this scenic race. The 20K was only one direction sign away from fully sorted although the distance indicators disapeared after 6 or 7 miles. Nice medal and biscuits at finish and pleasent marshalls. Strange the locals showed no interest at all. I enjoyed the race a lot.

In short: Excellent 10 mile race on forest tracks.
In full: Very well organised, plenty free parking every mile clearly marked good water stops and marshalls. Course was varied and pretty. Good spread of abilities, need to start near the front to get good gun time as numbers keep the pace at the back slow for the first couple of miles.

In short: Very well organised 10k
In full: Great organisation, changing tents, toilets, trade stands etc etc. Clear instructions, electronic timer board and chip timing. Two laps round parkland with views, some speed bumps and kerbs to negiotiate but well marshalled. Personally do not like the 2PM start, race dominates the entire day and surely the warmest time of day.

In short: Excellent- challenging and enjoyable race
In full: Clear distance marking, interesting course with a few hills, no traffic (closed the roads excellent), very enjoyable race shame that the microphone did not work and no momento. Plenty of fruit and water at finish.

In short: Excellent organisation and great course make this a fantastic race.
In full: The venue was fine, plenty of parking and facilities. The course was challenging, a few steep hills, some boggy stretches and plenty of undulations. Marshalling was great and directional signage good but no distance markers. The pre race brief was very clear. The scenery was wonderful and varied and competitors very chatty. The down sides were the lack of timing chip and a poor goodie bag, although it has to be said there was free hot soup and roll for all at the finish. Would definately recommend this race although beginners would be very challenged.
