In short: In two minds?
In full: Although the short course was a let down, I actually really enjoyed this race, thanks to my Garmin I knew the course was short and so once I crossed the finish line I kept going till 10miles so no big deal, the marshalls were great all around the course, the route was fine and the school facilities did the job, overall for £8 the race did the job, nicely organised and well surported.

In short: loved it!!!!!!!!!!!
In full: 1st time at this event and felt the organisation was faultless, no negatives for me, a great course with excellent marshalls.
Shame about the horse riders, but I guess they also have a right to the paths regardless of what event goes on. Anyway a great start to the morning/year and well done to Tadworth AC for a great race.

In short: Loved it!!!!!!!!!
In full: I thought this race was great, just about what I expected on entering and seeing the video. (although I didn't think the bog would be so deep or long and the lake came as a very nasty surprise, it the descent & ascent more then the water that got to me, but I guess these are the thing's that make Hellrunner unique.

Anyway I had fun, my friends nots so much but in hindsight and viewing the pictures I think we all had fun, would do it again although I think it must be even harder in the wet so that would be even more of a challenge.

Looking forward to next year!!!!

In short: Loved it!!!!!!!!!!
In full: Really surprising a race can be put on for such a small fee and be executed faultlessly, lots and great marshall, perfect signage through a forest course and tea and cake at the end, the course was great a heavy mix of up and down hills in the 1st few miles made it challenging not my best race but I did enjoy the distance.
Well done to the organisers for a great morning.

In short: Marathon or Ultra
In full: Such a shame, really good impressions from the start, great organisation, perfect start time, friendly marshalls and a good crowd, BUT the lack of marshall's on route is just crazy, i was with the crowd who got mis-directed after 8 miles ran an extra 3 miles due 2 signage issue's and there were 2 points later on towards the end where the signage was poor and could have led to another de-tour, having run the 3 extra miles, I just wanted to get to the end without the signage prob's could have been a top race and what's with the goody bag & medal, I alway's feel let down when these sub-standarn bag's are handed over, would rather pay a few extra quid if cost is the issue.

Gripe over I would like to thank all the marshall's on the course for being there well done,

In short: Great organisation, Great surport, Great Race.
In full: I really enjoyed this race, nice route, good turnout and for me well organised plenty of marshalls on the course, could have done with bottled water 1/2 way rather then a cup aside fromthat it was fine, nice finish, plenty of water and powerade, well done to the organisers

In short: Great organisation, Great surport, Great Race.
In full: Firstly i'd like to thank the Rotary Club for organising a great race at a great price, and price is the key for all those critising the use of plastic cups, £23-25 is definetly 1 of the cheapeast marathons out there, for me I found the water availiable adequate for the day, anyway the route was ok, although I felt like others that the greenway was way 2 long on the second lap but loved the last mile or so to the finish, did think the water and banana was a joke but I accept this keeps the race entry down, all in alla good day, a nice PB and a great Medal.
