In short: Nice conkers
In full: Avoided the temptation to stop on the big hill and pick conkers up (obviously it wouldn't be me stopping cos that hill went on a bit!), really good course, well marshalled and def one to do again

In short: Cracking sunday morning run
In full: After a few days of rain we got a great sunny day for this run, nice course up to the Castle and back round the lake, well organised and for a really good cause.
Fun run afterwards also good.

In short: A lot of dodging
In full: Great atmoshphere and a lot of first timers, but a lot of walkers ahead of the runners, plus a couple of bottle necks led to a mixed race for running.

In short: Red all over
In full: Great atmosphere once again and my two boys loved the mini dash, and the blue santa's, my 6 year old tells me "they're the baddy santa's", so fair play to the kid!

In short: Mind the sheep
In full: Great venue for a run, lovely autumn day complete with burger van. Traffic on the way was a bit of a mare due to roadworks so slight delay to the run, and could do with more loo's!
Great day though with excellent atmosphere and personal best was managed in spite of that big hill, and the attack sheep who ran into my legs in the first km. Hurdles!

In short: You wood.........
In full: Second time at this one and for a 5k it does seem quite challenging but real mix of entrants and very friendly / well organised. Plus a free tree at the end.

In short: At least we beat the 75 year old.......
In full: Good run, definitely with some hills and slight potential to get lost, someone always pinches the arrow signs when they go up before ready for a saturday night!
Excellent ron hill t shirt making it great value, and agree with t'other review that the finish line wasn't immediately obvious. Great relaxed feel though, and would love to meet the girl we parked our car next to again! (yes I was the one with the mate who was smoking and then running!)
