In short: Testing run for anyone, wether a pro,or a casual runner.
In full: One for the brave if you have'nt done this distance.Supposed to be a marathon trainer but i think it is a run that is unique, and should be one to train for, and marked in the diary as a yearly "pilgrimage". This run is more of a test for oneself rather than a race.Friendly people ,great views and a pleasant atmosphere.See you next year.

In short: Apart from the view at the start, uninteresting.
In full: Flat and monotonous and nothing to distract you to make it interesting, apart from the hill coming back that was spoilt by an annoyingly obnoxious old man thinking he was doing us a favour laughing at the runners trying to make it up the hill.WELL Organised and friendly but not appealing enough to come back.

In short: According to garmin owned by Lionel the exact mileage clipping corners included was 8.53 miles.
In full: A tough 2nd half to the race, certainly not for whimps. A great feeling of accomplishment
at the end, and will definitely do it next year to see if i can better my time this year.

In short: Going out and over Hubbards hill on to the Downs was ok, and the views were pleasant enough.. The down hill back to the A20 was steep and played on the knees.Once on the A20 to go back, this is a remaining long straight stretch of 7 miles. d
In full: 7 miles of fast head on traffic and nothing else to distract you kept my head down to just get to the end. This is a hard run,no
question, and psycologically boosts your confidence for marathon potential.A good training run for this, but wouldn't do it
for any other reason.Nice dish but could have had the distance covered put on it.

In short: Great views,fantastic run,well organised,10/10
In full: Well organised from the beginning to the end.
The pace was surprisingly quick, despite the long hill, which actualy impressed me, when i finished in 1 hour 45, a PB for me taking 8
minutes off my usual time. The views were
picturesque, and the weather perfect for this
race.A friendly atmosphere,on the way round,
and good support from the public. Definitely
worth coming back next year .The race of the year so far.

In short: Weather was bad, but the route was good
In full: Had it been a fine day this race would have definitley had PB best potential for anyone.
The scenery was great but the weather was such that i kept my head down, and plodded on, and feeling under the weather so to speak on the day, i was glad to get to the end. I was 10 minutes off my normal pace, but still did it in 1.28.Yes i would do it again to see if i could get a PB.
