In short: Glorious blue skies ,an interesting race !
In full: My first Bath half , loved it , somehow managed a pb !
Lack of signage at start , loads of toilets , no queues i think people missed them . My shoes got caked in mud getting to orange start !
Held back for 10 mins , not a problem so long as you keep your old clothes on ! Once waited 40 mins to start the great north !!
Really enjoyed the route , more undulating than i was expecting .
Cones ??!! really dangerous hazard
No lucozade left when i really needed it !!
Crazy lady with tannoy driving past too quickly to hear, very distracting !!
No blanket at end , stuck standing still in bottle neck !!
Loved warming up in the park , watching some guys warming up ! One turned out to be the winner !!

In short: Another out of body experience !!
In full: Loved it , 3rd time , pb !! Incredible crowds so encouraging ,like they feel it's their duty to keep you going ! But !! i had the worst portaloo experience of my life before the race . Then had to battle through all the drink stations and jump over loads of bottles , never seen it so bad . I felt it was dangerously over crowded with some horrid bottle necks . My friend fell at last 900 m , we don't know why , after medical attention 2 very kind spectators helped her to the finish !! Yes i will be back next year !!

In short: Fantastic !
In full: Registered at the last minute as we were on holiday !! Great race , lovely evening . Marshals very encouraging , traffic a bit scary in places . Managed my best time this year for 10km despite of the hills !
Loved the t. shirt , just a shame womans t.shirts are so skimpy , it fitted my 11 year old daughter not me !!

In short: Hellish head winds !!
In full: My first time . Will be back next year . Well organised , lots of support on route. Managed a pb inspite of the wild winds ( that made me feel twice my normal weight )!! So lucky that the torrential rain stopped just before the race started and the sun came out !!
