In short: Well organised, good pre-london (or autumn) marathon build up
In full: Excellent race, baggage queues were a surprise given that 99% of the runners drove and were less than 400 yards from their car! Plenty of parking meant a quick arrival and quick departure. The race started 10 minutes late but this was warned about readily so no-one seemed too confused.

The route was scenic nice country lanes and the rather austere airfield. Which gave a nice contrast. Airfield was flat and windy, the country lanes were undulating. Both of these are likely to be found in most marathon courses at some point so a good training run. These runs should be on tougher than race day material IMHO

Top gear points of interest included parts of the test track, a few cars, one bashed up truck and lots of rubber marks.

The water station girls were excellent at cheering runners on. The medal is the best in my collection - beating New York for quality.

Enjouyed it, sign me up for next year!

In short: Great Views, great course, well marshalled - what more can you ask for (that you are realistically going to get)

In short: Good? One of the runners in front of me stopped to take numerous photos - that good
In full: This run uses tracks and trails around Norbury in hilly parkland and woodland. Yes it is hilly but the views are worth it. It also happens to be my training ground. It was nice to see a runner stop numerous times to take photos when the views opened up; I get to run on this all the time.

You won't set a PB when compared to flat industrial estate but it will be a lot more fun. Plenty of drinks stations, well marshalled and signed. Friendly atmosphere, great race.

In short: Organisation is beyond excellent. It should be made training material for other races.
In full: I only did the HM. Excellent course, tracks in good condition for the time of year. Signs were excellent and course marshalled as well. Anyone who got lost couldn't cope with a supermarket. Very friendly.

Breakfast - with emphasis on fast. The breakfast team deserve praise. Happy & fast - I know a few restaurants that do a lot worse!

Shot glass is unusual. A medal maybe but don't do a t-shirt ever.

Will be back - may have a go at the FM next year. Anyone who knows me please do not bring this up at entry time.

In short: Excellent race - sunshine in a snowy wonderland
In full: Excellent organisation, well marked and marshalled route. Organised start and finish. Plenty of tea/coffee/drinks available before and after. Plenty of toilets. Cold, icy, muddy but an excellent race. Thank you, will be back.
