We perposly start at the back so as we cannot get in anyones way who's quicker than us

In short: What a super event !!
In full: It was our first Macclesfield HM, our 152nd HM in all

got told it was HILLY, but found it to be only slightly undulating and challenging

planned on a trot anyway, as we have only 2 weeks ago clocked Robin Hood Full in 5.07, and have another marathon in 2 weeks

The organisation and venue was most perfect

the course was simply beautiful, enjoyed it so much, the time went, the miles went, in a way, quite sorry it came to and end

if future diary will fit it in, we'll be back

We could have run Crickclade flatish HM, but decided on this challenger

everyone was just great

Our thanks to all ...

In short: 13.1 miles of pure GLORY
In full: 13 miles is 13 miles, it's not everyones thing

it's an easy, very easy race compared to some

Well for us it would be, it's
our way of life.

Running has given us our life back
Brian Porter promised everything, and so far as i can see he delivered

It was a perfect day, perfect race, though it got warmer, and slightly more difficult as it went on...

My congratulations to all involved

For us the road show goes on week after week, race after race

Though i would strongly urge people to train regular, keep positive and eat and drink well, and build pyhsical and mental stamina, and they would find any race easy

We will return hopefully next year , but in the meantime we have another 50 plus races to think about

Many thanks to all

Mick n Phil

In short: Super event
In full: our thanks and gratitude to All concerned with Bedford harriers

it was a beautiful race, as usual, everything just went like pure clockwork

though, i spent most of my run laughing, just listening to other runners babbling on, it really was a lovely atmosphere

So, hope to be back again next year ahh.. some 50+ races on !!

Wishing you all a merry Christmas, if u celebrate, or happy holiday if u don't

It just so happens ..( we don't )

Sincere wishes to all

In short: Tough race ... super day
In full: we eventually clocked 4.36, it was tough in as much it was gale force
The very day i was on form to give it hell after 21 miles, i could not battle the wind
it was our 5th consecutive luton marathon,

We've clocked 4.41 in 2002, 5.03 in 2003, only 2 laps in 2004, 5.10 in 2005 and now 4.36

The race itself is a gruelling, mentally sapping 3 lapper, you have to be on the ball to start that 3rd lap ...
but i went with my could'nt care less attitude, that gave me no pressure, and just run and enjoy

i've lost 18 of the best years of my life, caring for my Sick and disabled son, so, i see it as a joyfull triumphant day

hence, the reason, i screamed with joy on entering the hall afterwards

would i do it all again ... yes even in 3 months after recovery if i could

My thanks to all

For Mick n Phil That's 21 marathons,

we'll be back next year... can't wait

In short: perfect race, on a perfect day
In full: This was our third consecutive St Neots half

it proved again to be a glorious run, really felt quite proud to be part of it !!

Though i could'nt push Phillip to an overall pb, time is great, but Enjoyment and safety, is far more important...

The rural countryside is stunning, It is slightly undulating at St Neots, i certainly could'nt class that as hilly in any way at all !!

many thanks to everyone for the encouragement, and St Neots for having us back

put us on 2007 list please

Lets just do it,

Bring it on

Easy...Easy...easy

Best wishes to everyone

In short: Purely Brilliant !!
In full: My thanks goes to Angie & Bob, for letting Mick n Phil take part and to everyone who did their bit

it was a superb run, we had to go quietly, because we had a marathon following week

i certainly would NOT call it hilly, though opinions do vary

We just loved it, we relaxed , just felt like a most perfect day

Can't find NO problem with it at all

In short: Superbly brilliant, just like Brian smith
In full: What a super race it is,

really made our night, the whole thing, a nice size race, so perfectly organised, by a committee, that seem to find time for everyone

You don't get that everywhere

perhaps they should get Brian and committee to organise the FLM, and really show the country how it's done !!!

if there's a better race, and better guy out there than Brian, then i'd really like someone to tell me about it !!

they really did make me and my Phil happy

overall 110 %

MANY THANKS TO YOU ALL

For making a Chroincally Sick lad and his dad very happy

Is it an all time favourite they ask below,

Where , just where could you better it !!
