In short: tough but oh so worth it...!!!
In full: What a fab race!!! Excellent organisation, nice touch withe sweets at the water stations.. some very tough climbs(but I just walked those bits) and a very long steady climb towards the tower... very friendly marshalls, great atmosphere and now my legs especially my bum is in bits...
Was thinking of doing the Picnic marathon.. just a bit more training first I think..

Thanks for a great friendly race.

In short: this was awesome!
In full: This was an absolutey beautiful race... the scenery is stunning, very super friendly and encouraging marshalls, everyone was in such high spirits... there was even a man and his dog running.. who I stayed with most of the way, but in the end the dog beat me( I tried I really did!)... those hills are killers.. for a fun runner, like myself I thought the atmosphere was brill. Would def do this again, you can't beat running through the woods... thought the race was a little expensive, but all for a great charity and very well organised. One of my fav's so far.

In short: If you like hills, and you would prefer to do this one almost on your hands and knees at one point... the do it.. Def not one for complete beginners to running... those hills are absolutely evil/somehow enjoyable??
