In short: If you only do one half marathon next year choose this one!
In full: I love this race. Have run it several times and always do well. Love the scenery. The people who make it happen and run smoothly do a fantastic job. I'll be putting this one on the calendar for next year. Got a PB this year so feeling very happy today!

In short: First time for this one, will be back for the challenge again!
In full: Had planned to do Newark half but online entries said 'full' so I opted for this. What a nice surprise! Glad I did it, it was tough in parts and made me work hard. So no regrets about not doing the half, I'll be back for this one. I was delighted with my time given a couple of long and tough climbs, great preparation for Chesterfield Spire 10!!!

In short: 4th London and managed a PB! 4 hours (I am forgetting about the 6 seconds!)
In full: I really wanted to get this in under 4 hours and if I had been in a better start pen I could have done it. It was a fantastic day and I feel very proud but did find it hard to get a good pace with the mass of runners (and walkers from the start!) Need to aim for a better start pen next time! Raised a lot for Macmillan as well so all in all not a bad day out. Next stop Edinburgh in May. Thanks for the organisation of the event and the support along the way. Can we have numbers posted out in future by any chance?

In short: Definitely one to do again next year. At the top of my list of great events.
In full: This was my first Dambuster. I loved it. The organisation and pre race info was great. The route was slightly challenging but interesting. Everyone was so friendly. The finish was excellent, not only tea and home made cakes available but a personal certificate printed off and ready to take home. Did a good time too, so that was pleasing. Count me in for next year. Thank you for a fabulous morning out, it makes all the training worthwhile.

In short: Starting and finishing in the Stadium makes this one special
In full: Great weather which always helps. Not too busy as lots of folk are concentrating on London right now. Three laps, you knew what was coming but running on the track made this fun. Good for spectators who saw runners throughout the race. I got a PB and live in Sheffield so really pleased!

In short: Loved it, did a PB so can't complain!
In full: It was tough getting up to race this morning, so cold and the ice on the roads round where I am were a little off putting. But I am so glad I made the effort and will be back. It would be good to do this one on a clear blue sky day! Thought the organisation was fab, friendly marshalling, great price. Thanks.

In short: I love this one. Got a PB here in 2005 and again today!
In full: I love this one, partly because of doing well but also it is so easy to get to from Sheffield, easy to park, very well organised and very friendly. Always see people I know. will definitely be back.

In short: No doubt about it, this has a tough start and the last mile is a slog but well worth doing.
In full: I know this is tough but it is a good challenge. The mix of hard up hill then fast down makes you plan your race. I managed a PB this year (delighted!). Will definitely be back again. Really well marshalled, good and friendly crowd, easy parking. Have a go!

In short: Fabulous scenery, tough race!
In full: I enjoyed the event and given the course was pleased with my time. I do find it odd though that for a race with 1000 places the T shirts were not allocated to entrants after 24th April. I entered as soon as I saw it on RW, number 416 and still paid £17.00. Fortunately I do not run for t shirts, but it made it a pricey fee none the less. Will go back for the challenge and try to beat this years time.
