In short: very tough due to the heat but great race with great scenery
In full: Had a lovely day out, a race through the country followed by a day at the zoo! The hills in the first half were tough and made so much harder because it was so hot! The people with hoses were greatly appreciated!

In short: fast, flat course with some tricky boggy/ wet sections!
In full: This was a nice run and organisation was good. Friendly marshals and a good supportive crowd. Could have done with the first drink station being a little later or having an extra one in the middle as there was quite a gap between them. A few more toilets would have been nice but i have seen longer queues in other races!

In short: lovely setting but needed better organisation at start and finish
In full: This was a superb setting for a race, lovely scenery, great weather. The marshals were very encouraging around the course. On a downside the queues for the toilets and registration were the biggest I have seen in a race! By the time we got to the front my feet were numb!

There was also an abrupt stop as soon as you crossed the finish line while you had to queue (again) for number check, drink, chocky (much appreciated) and medal (good quality), I have low blood pressure and very nearly fainted in the queue at the end because of this!

In short: fun race wasn't too grim!
In full: I enjoyed this race, compared to turbo x that I had done a few weeks before it was quite tame! The hardest part was keeping moving when you couldn't feel your feet. There was lots of cold water to get through! Not too much smelly mud though. I thought it ran very smoothly and had a great atmosphere. I managed to clock 8.7 miles on my Garmin though!

In short: mad mud and more mud!
In full: Did I mention mud? Thanks to all the people who pulled me out of the chest deep mud, I'm only little and I wouldn't have made it home without you!!!

The race was really well organised, there was a great atmosphere, it was exceptionally tough due to the horrendous weather we have had recently! Overall a good race, being short I'm not sure I would want to do it again after so much rain but under nornal conditions it would have been great!

In short: fun race but poor organisation and expensive
In full: Overall the race was fun but considering that there was no finishing momento other than a bottle of water it was a very expensive race! T-shirts available but at an extra cost! I wouldn't do it again, shame!I didn't see any markings directing you to the race from the road either so it was hard to find even once in the centre!
