In short: Loved it!
In full: Excellent organisation for it's first year- many thanks to Dave and his helpers. I don't feel the need to mention the very few negative points because they were far outweighed by the positives.
The marshals were amazing- their enthusiasm never waned even for us slower ones. The same goes for the residents of Mablethorpe and surrounding areas. Very much appreciated.
I really hope I can do it again next year- my favourite marathon so far.
Cheers Mablethorpe!

In short: A very enjoyable marathon. Very well organised and the marshals and other helpers were excellent.
In full: Only one testing hill to be tackled at miles 4 and 17, but at least you knew what to expect 2nd time round.
Plenty of water stations which was great, and all the marshalls and helpers on the course were encouraging and cheerful, even when they'd been there for 4 hours+, which was much appreciated!
Being cheered in at the stadium at the end was great, as was the free buffet and the pint with Sheffield Dave and LLB!
Nice medal at the end, t-shirt and a goody bag. I was very excited that there was a Mars bar in there!
Thanks to all the other runners who were friendly and encouraging. Big thanks to Christine and everyone who helped out with the race.

In short: Marathon- A great day out!
In full: Fantastic scenery, excellent organisation and not as tough as most people seem to think. Absolutely no steep uphills and the steep downhills are good fun!

In short: Strangely enjoyable despite the hills and the best goody bag in the world ever!
