In short: Friendly,Beautiful ans welcoming
In full: Really nice event set in nice countyside. Village green feel about it. Nice testing hill to keep you interested and a fabulous reception at end. Fund raising event and was happy with just a medal. Will be back again with a few more club members.

In short: pheeew
In full: 2nd time of running previous comment re Marshalls on the road bit-two side roads had no marshalls. Drinks in cup for me is a no go. I would be willing to put an extra £1 for bottled water. T shirt this year definate improvement.

In short: Enjoyable but tough because of conditions
In full: A tough run due to the weather. I agree with comments about the lack of communication with regard to the marathon being cancelled.
A VERY big thank you to all the marshalls and supporters along the way, your support really helped.

In short: 2012 review
In full: My second run around Stafford, pacing a friend to her pb. An undulating course with a couple of cheeky hills. Great organisation, loved the medal and T shirt. fabulous reception at the end. See you in 2013.

In short: tough to fault
In full: Despite natures best efforts pre-race, this is everything you need from a distance race. The organisation is first class, the marshalls brilliant and the water stations un real. The goody bag and hoodie brilliant. There is no getting away from it, it's a tough course, 18-19 mile seemed never ending. First class finish area. To all involved a huge well done. Think I might just come back.

In short: typical KP event
In full: Too many people in my opinion. It was ridiculous that they had not catered for the full number of runners-My wife was the last one to get a medal. Don't understand the comments regarding short course. Stood in a queue for 10 mins to get my time and still don't know my official time-was told they were 20 secs out. Having said all that it's a PB course and pleasent enough at that. Please KP learn some lessons.

In short: you know what to expect here
In full: Having raced here three times in 10k's I knew exactly what to expect. Little bit of window dressing had taken place, some children's entertainment. The usual pre race info was inaudible. In my opinion maybe the 5k and 10 needs to be started at a different time, spent the first 800m trying to get passed people who had stood in completely the wrong place. The course is stoney and pot holey. The wind was very strong (is it ever any different). All that aside I got a massive pb, the four laps didn't phase me. Thought that the cross over at 500m from the end was not the best idea. The food at the end was a nice touch. The drinks gave the impression it was Gatorade but seemed like water to me. I am also not fond of cups of water during half marathons. Some of the Marshalls made no effort whatsoever, whilst others were helpful. Biggest negative for me is the utterly pointless goody bag-A nice medal but only a medal seems tight to me. All in all a place to achieve your precious pb but don't expect too much for your money.

In short: pb material
In full: nice local race-with a big pb potential. Fair mix of all abilities. Nice momento with water/Lucozade and a Banana at finish.Lovely atmosphere at finish. One niggle did not state extra on the day to register.

In short: Hilly, Hilly and Hilly
In full: 2nd time at this event and boy was it tough. Hills either up or down. Plus points plenty of cheap car parking-the support was great-t shirt and medal was good. I thought there was sufficient water. Some of the route was lovely.
Negative-don't get the queueing for you chip and number especially given they'd sent a post card.what was with the ten min delay and no time slots and finish clock.A tough event and glad i've completed.
