In short: great trail run in the forest
In full: Loved pretty much everything about this race, glad to be able to run in the forest for once in amongst pine cones, tree roots, puddles and sandy patches. Loved the hills, one of them quite big. Must be a popular race as quite a turnout for this event.

In short: nice quiet race
In full: Very nice quiet race starting and finishing on Wargrave rec area with great childrens playground, would have kept my lot very busy. Very good organisation, starting line according to finish time clearly marked, lots of water at the finish, nice goody bag, course not cramped, easy to overtake. The only fault I found was the kids at the first and last water station shouting out silly things at the runners and a few on the way back actually throwing water at the runners, I would not have been terribly pleased if they targeted me, to put it lightly. Overall, would do it again quite happily but quite a few other races on this weekend so we'll see about next year.

In short: lovely scenic race
In full: The only race so far with excellent toilet facilities. Nice cafe at the end, could get a cup of tea before heading home. Overall very friendly race, as for course pebbly in places but track wide and not at all difficult to overtake. I will be back for race 3 for sure, maybe will do 2nd but that remains to be seen.

In short: nice town race
In full: Great:
*marshalling and support, half of Woodley seemed to have turned up and cheered us, somebody even put music from radio on the roadside to motivate us
*somebody mentioned in reviews family friendly area
* nice goody bag and sports drink at the end
* great bag storage area, they brought my bag to me even before I asked for it

Not so great:
*parking: very crowded, had to leave the car in the unmarked area and was a bit worried for it to get bumped but they did mention this in the race information so fair enough
*course itself was bottlenecked sometimes and at times difficult to overtake and scenery not so good but it is town race first of all and also I never have time to admire scenery anyway, too busy overtaking :)

Other than that great race, may do it again or go for Oxford's race next year

In short: great for a PB, good for beginners
In full: Had a great time running this race, managed a PB so very pleased. I like busy races so this was perfect, although in few places track narrow so difficult to overtake. Not a great scenery and it would be great to have less traffic but this is only the minor point. Overall great race, nice that fete was nearby so kids don't get bored, great goody bag and medal, will do it again next year.

In short: rather challenging scenic run
In full: Really loved this race. It was tough but I love multi terrain races. There were a few hills, I am pleased to say I managed to run not walk all of them (these hillwork sessions have definitely paid off).
Definitely the most encouraging marshalls and it seems that half the village trurned at the beginning of the race, lots of encouragement. Pleased with goody bag and Terminator tee shirt although feel like a cheat as never actually did that race (but will do next year). Fantastic home made cakes, my children have gobbled them up in seconds, will do it again, for sure.

In short: scenic race, shame that no memento
In full: Marshalls very quiet and probably disinterested, little encouragement. Shame did not get a medal or any keepsake, would be better to remember that race by. Had a great day though afterwards we spent a day in the grounds. Was pleasantly surprised by variety of terrain, road, grass but also some mud, hills upwards and down, grassy fields. Not sure whether would do it again, probably not if weather was not good.

In short: great marshals, very well organised
In full: very well organised, prompt start, not great scenery at first but once left business park it was nice and green, very pleasant. Will definitely pencil in for next year.
