In short: An uplifting event - always good fun In full: I've been lucky enough to run all of these events since they started. Just as each year you feel it's great, something different or new the following year raises the bar again! Improved course this year, and great novelty items in the goody bag. Thank you Date of review: November 1, 2013
In short: A fantastic experience, well organised, friendly and a lovely route. In full: A boggy race due to the weather recently, but the event was excellent. Lots of nice additional touches such as a medal with my name on, being able to print my finish time straight away, mince pies, mulled wine..... Date of review: January 3, 2013
In short: Another fantastic event...........well done Mr H In full: I've been lucky enough to run this event every year (4) and it is always a highlight in my events list. Great fun. Date of review: November 1, 2012
In short: Poor organisation spoilt what could be a unique event In full: Many comments already made about the transport issues. I still don't get why they couldn't design the route to finish back at the start point where there were pleanty of facilities, and our cars! No clear direction for where the buses were. At the finish you were handed your bag and medal and left to wander aimlessly. Date of review: October 29, 2012
In short: Big-Race event, awesome finish in the stadium In full: Well organised event, with many water and sport-drink stations en-route. Great medal and goody bag. Only the start area was a bit chaotic to get to your correct pen. Date of review: March 23, 2011
In short: A fantastic, fun event - where do I sign-up for 2011? In full: Great organisation, with lots of little touches that make this a very well organised and unique event. The skelton drummer band were superb, and the whole concept of night-running with head torches is so different. Date of review: November 3, 2010
In short: Superb atmosphere, big event-feel. The finish gives me goosebumps everytime!! In full: Reading was my first half-marathon in 1984 and it still gets my juices going! Great crowd support most of the way round.
I didn't take a beer from the Nags Head (about 7 miles) but my mate did - he always does!
Probably ran quicker than I was planning but that's what it's about on big events with the adrenalin, noise and support - loved it! Date of review: March 25, 2010
