In short: Oooh I ache!! What a wonderful start to 2013
In full: My first time and what a wonderful way to spend New Years Day. They say adversity pulls people together and it certainly did today. Well done for the support of those taking part!!

In short: Nice Flat, fast race
In full: I've done this a few times, chip timing and a staggered start sort the bunching issues out. Plenty of mud and puddles along the route and slippery in places. Well organised and pleasant marshalls, my only gripe was that the distance markers bore no relation as to the correct distance! 1k came up at 500m 5k was in fact 4k. Other than that a nice morings run!!

In short: As always a well organised and challenging event
In full: This was my 3rd year and the event just gets better. The organisation is faultless with lots of supportive, friendley marshalls. The course has everything, road, trail, mud etc. The weather was even fantastic to!!!

In short: Nice and scenic course
In full: My first time doing this race and no my last. Despite the slight hills this is still a fast course. It looked very much like the entire village of Leigh turned out to cheer us on despite the rain. Well organised and plenty of parking.

In short: Well done!
In full: Thanks to the hard work and regular updates of the organisers, the race was able to go ahead. Yes the route was changed but the weather was terrible in the previous weeks and evidence of recent flooding was still present. Not as big a turnout as previous years but still a great race.
Once again many thanks SLH
