In short: Potential to be a great race
In full: Very well organised race apart from one issue - the course was closer to 9k than 10k, (as at one point runners were sent in the wrong direction). However on a positive note great support from the people of Bradford / great marshalls and volunteers, good value for money and a good course. I would definately do this race again, although clearly the organisers will need to ensure that the direction markings are clearer next time.

In short: Excellent race - would definately run again
In full: Really enjoyed this race - fantastic scenary, good support. The only thing I would change would be to split runners at the start according to predicted time. With over 550 runners I think this is neccesary for safety purposes, with sub 45 minute runners trying to get past much slower runners at the start. Just a minor gripe, as the race was well organised and marshalled and for £10 UKA/£12 NON UKA definately a bargain. 2 minute silence and reading at the start from Rememberance Sunday was appreciated.

In short: Excellent well run race
In full: Excellent well run race. Despite the fact only run once every 20 years this was a very well run race - just a shame will have to wait another 20 years for the next one! The support of the people of Preston certainly helped, especially given the heavy rain. The marshalls were superb. Very nice touch at the end with the mayor and mayoress helping to giving the medals out!! It would be good if the half marathon and marathon could become a yearly event.

In short: Amazing Experience - fantastic support
In full: Very well organised race. What really made it was the support of the people of Liverpool and Birkenhead, especially when emerge from the Queensway Tunnel into Liverpool and hit by a wall of soumd with masses of support either side of the road. I have never seen so many supporters at a race! Marshalls and helpers made event run like clockwork. Within 30 seconds of finishing had collected my bag!

In short: Excellent race, especially given the fact first time run.
In full: Excellent race, especially given the fact that it was the first Lifeleisure 10K run. Friendly helpfull marshalls made this race, especially near the end of the race. Minor glitch was that the registration point had been changed at the last minute, but not a major issue. I'm sure it will be even bigger and better next year!

In short: Very well organised race - cheering by locals certainly helped.
In full: Well organised race - lots of cheering along the way, which helped. A few hills - mostly uphill untill half way then mostly downhill, but not too steep a gradient. Would definaely do this race again!

In short: Excellent race - definately worth doing
In full: As with a lot of Bupa races a bit pricey to enter - basically you are paying for the t-shirt. However excellent atmosphere and the hilliness adds to the challenge. Excellent organisation and the support of chearing crowds along the way definately helps.

In short: Well run trail race
In full: I was impressed with Phillips Park - good scenary - the race as expected from a trail race had a few uphill bits (and a couple of sets of steps), but not as tough as I expected. For a relatively small race (around 150 runners) quite well run. Will definately do it again next year.

In short: Really enjoyed this race - mainly a trail race. Good scenary. Steep hill at the end, which is ok if you are prepared for it. Was slightly short of 10k (9.2 K) - but not complaining!
