In short: Definitely has PB potential and very friendly marshalls and supporters
In full: Wet and windy today, otherwise PB must be on the cards. Nice easy route, lovley village for start/finish. Car parking distance from start was off-putting, but apart from that a very good first race.

In short: Good course, fantastic marshalls, very well organised, nice T-shirt!
In full: My first Horsforth 10k and loved it! Get the hills out of the way quickly and you know its downhill or flat for the run in. Marshalls were fab, never had so much smiling encouragement. Not hitches in the organisatio and a tech T at a bargain price. Definitly one to do again, and again....

In short: My fourth Robin Hood and another mostly enjoyable experience!
In full: Great organisation, very supportive crowds and marshalls, especially encouraging on the second half this year. Water stations, medals etc etc all excellant!

Not sure about all the route changes, first half seems hillier and there are stil alot of tight twists and turns, but still potentially quick.

Unfortunately I hit the wall at 23 miles this year. But thanks to support of the many paramedics on hand, and runners (thanks to Kevin, hope you finished well), I recovered enough to comfortably run to the finish and still avoid a PW (personal worst)!

In short: Did the 6 hr race on Sunday, very good organisation, great scenery, lovely race.
In full: Really enjoyed this. Great location in the forest for the start/finish and camping area. Lots of space, no queues for loos or showers, very relaxed.

7 km course is a good length for a 6 hr race and this one is actually quite hilly - well, 3.5 k up hill, 3.5 k down hill! Weather was good, nice dry trails but it was pretty humid. Still, nice breeze on the tops and shade from the trees lower down. Pleasant route and some fine views.

Great to be able to park close to the race route for refuelling etc.

For a first event it was really well organised, lots of facilities and good atmosphere – lets hope more people sign up to this next year. Still, in a bigger field I might not have won the solo race!!

Also, hats off to the winning pairs team. 13 laps is awesome!!

In short: Fantastic! Perfect weather, perfect organisation and a new PB!
In full: My second A Coventry Way and really enjoyed it. Great weather and underfoot conditions (last time it was mostly under water!). Very, very well organised, friendly and great marshalls. Very grateful for the extra water point after the canal section. And I improved my time by over an hour!

Looking forward to next year already!

In short: Tough! But in glorious surroundings.
In full: Fantastic weather today for some glorious views, but this is a tough race. When you are not slogging uphil you and slipping and sliding downhill. A brilliantly organised race (great food at checkpoints and at the finish). Just do it!

In short: Very cold, wet and grey, but despite that the marshalls kept smiling!
In full: Very good organisation, good route (potentially quick in good weather?), cheery and encouraging marshalls and quailty T-shirt. Well done Clowne!

In short: I did enjoy this race, but the organisation needs to be improved!
In full: So, overall, would I do this again? Yes! I did enjoy the run, its local, easy to get to and the weather was good!

The constructive feedback (I think its all been mentioned before but...):

If this race gets bigger either send out the timing chips beforehand or have a proper queuing system.
Get mile markers right and make sure they are visible (I missed many).
Make sure the 5 mile race is 5 miles....
The drinks station just after half way wasn't even ready to hand out water (this was 30 minutes into the race...)
Ask the marshals to engage more, they were very disinterested.
Traffic control just passed the Interchange was patchy - myself and other runners had to cross amongst moving cars...
I thought the finish was clear, but clearly it caused lots of confusion....

That said looking forward to next year's race!
