In short: Challenging course and very well organised - a great event In full: This is obviously a race organised by runners. The course is somewhat hilly which makes it a great challenge! Superb marshall support all round. Will be back1 Date of review: July 25, 2011
In short: Amazing! In full: If you're after a marathon pb you're going to get it here - subject to the weather! Cannot be faulted. As a Good For Age runner, I really appreciate this system! Date of review: April 20, 2011
In short: Always a great event to test your speed. Great organisation . In full: Well organised event on a scenic, flattish route. Pb potential is there. In short: The best race in the country keeps on getting better In full: What a brilliant day. As usual awesome organisation, superb scenic, challenging route and brilliant support from spectators and the many Marshalls. Perfect racing weather this year helped. Great to get a medal from Dame Kelly, not to mention the superb t- shirt/ medal / goody bag. This event really is a reference on how to do it. Love it. Date of review: February 28, 2011
In short: Very nice scenic event In full: I love the challenging route through pleasant 'undulating' countryside. Nice to get a mug as a reward afterwards. No cup of water at the end? - not the end of the world.Good value for money overall. Date of review: January 31, 2011
In short: Good challenging event In full: Seemed to be more ups than downs. The scenic part of the race was superb - glorious route. The hills are not drastic, just slowly sapping if youre a lump like me. Good marshalling and support throughout. Had sat nav issues trying to find the start, and ended up in residential area with a lot of others in similar position - maybe a few signs on key roundabouts to aid drivers in future?. Medal at the end was nice. Date of review: October 18, 2010
In short: The best Offroad event I've ever done - Faultless In full: Eridge Park makes a stunning race location -loads of hills ,a nice bit of mud to spice things up.Organisation is excellent, and marshalls were brilliant. Beer/ cakes / nice t shirt - bargain. Atmosphere amongst runners was great. Date of review: September 20, 2010
In short: More challenging than I expected In full: Thought this would be flat and fast, but the hills really kicked in midway . Adidas technical t shirt is great, as is medal. Few nice little freebies as well. Managed to start relatively close to the front, amongst similar paced runners. Wish there had been clearly marked starting areas based on predicted finishing time due to large numbers of runners.
Route was pretty dull to be fair, and wouldnt be inclined to return unless it was for another Kent GP.
Not bothered by pacers (- its only 10k!) or by organised warm ups! Date of review: June 18, 2010
In short: Absolutely superb event - beautiful countryside route and well organised In full: Wow it was hot, but there were plenty of very welcome water stations. Course seemed to climb a lot! The route is beautiful, and crowd support through the villages was excellent. Will be back next year. Organisation very slick. Date of review: May 24, 2010
In short: Super fast and great organisation In full: As always a well organised event. Nice and flat so great for pb potential. Pretty much traffic free course as well. Come back every year for this one. Travel by train - start is only 5 mins from station. Date of review: April 12, 2010
