In short: Fun: mud, roads fields, stiles and barb wire. What more can you want in a trail marathon t
In full: For a trail race with a map this had the most signs on route I have ever seen, yes we got lost but what a laugh climbing the barb wire and chatting with the other racers as we all got each other out of trouble. Friendly marshalls offered assistance and all in all I just enjoyed the run. One thing please use the red string for all of the lines in the woods as I missed the blue with my shades on :¬)

In short: Hardest 11+ miles I have ever done but with some of the best views and freshest air you could hope for.
In full: WOW, tough covers it but is not a word to do some of the climbs here justice. Ok, I'm not a trail runner but I do like my hills and these were good. Scenery is Wales so it was beautiful. Marshalling was excellent as was the course marking. Well done to everyone who took part.
I only have one critical comment and that was the prize giving, I have done a lot of races and this was the slowest worst organised "ceremony" I have every waited for. Lots of people stayed for a while but by the time it started many were cold and fed up and more had left. Come on guys don't let a fantastic race be ruined by a badly run end.
I don't want to finish with that bad comment so let me say I am not put off by this one minus point and next year Rach and I plan to do both races and enjoy the local area a little more. FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In short: It's a track race.
In full: Not a great view running around a track all day but good for getting the times you want. Lacked a little in the excitement front as the scoreboard was never really up to date.
Largely well organised and friendly event.

In short: Windy course as very open but still a good day out.
In full: Not a flat as people think and very open and exposed. That aside a good atmosphere and a good race.

In short: Not my sort of race and would rather do Abingdon
In full: Fun runners 5 abreast and dropping water on the path behnd them was a nigtmare for running well in the last 6 miles. I don't want to run round people I want them to move. Marshalls daydreaming, we all appreciate the work that goes in but please if you are going to Marshall then do it and not sit there chatting to friends or the crowd and not directing us.

Ironically, the only reason to come back and race here again is the fact that even with the problems above it is still a fast course.

In short: A good race well organised on a fast course
In full: After last year I was a little concerned about the lap counting but it was VERY much on the ball this year. The wind was death but that happens in races. The countryside is pleasant and the marshalls had a smile all day.

In short: I think Toby is sadistic
In full: Great course with tough hills. Terrain underfoot is awkward which makes it tough. WHAT A GREAT RACE!!!!!!!!!!
