In short: Great blast. Glad I had 4wd in the car park.
In full: As ever, toilets were in great demand and a coupel of people may have been a tad late at the start.

But on the plus side, they had laid on extra and there was more than enough loo roll which is fabulous for those of us with unpredictabilities.

Great to see Mick & Phil.

In short: Mike Gratton has learned a lot from all his years of racing, and it really shows here. A race that is a joy to experience, Pricey, but then, so is a Bentley.

In short: This race is very painful and awesome
In full: This is the only race where I have seen people carried off repeatedly, it plays with your mind and it hurts like hell. But the slowest person today crossed the line with a grin the size of the Severn Bridge.

Do this race, you might find out something about yourself. If nothing else, it's a voyage of discovery.

And I'll be back next year and every year, until Toby (race organiser)stops saying at the finish (while tapping his watch) "What sort of time do you call this?"

See you in 2008.

In short: Killer. Only downside on organisation was some of the route was not signposted, but apparently the locals take the signs down to be a pain.
In full: The view from the top of the Purbeck Way makes this one of the great races of all time. You can easily see the curvature of the earth.

In short: Great evenings entertainment.....
In full: 2nd race I have done by Egdon Heath Harriers and very impressed by organisation.

Seems perfectly logical to me to hold races starting from a leisure centre car park. Everything on hand.

In short: A fine Sunday morning run.
In full: Excellent parking, good loos in leisure centre, after race grub in race hut at reasonable prices, excellent cup of tea. Long walk to start, useful wee bushes opposite start, difficult angled start though, bit messy, quite pretty, unofficial water hazards, not a fast course. Couldn't quite make out exactly which bit was finishing line.
