In short: Very enjoyable race and well organised. Just one point - The main marshall at the beginning needs to chill out a little; he'll give himself an heart attacj! Date of review: September 28, 2009
In short: Excellent Organisation and a great race! In full: Couple of hills in the race but they weren't too bad. Very well organised and the weather was perfect for running! Date of review: March 2, 2009
In short: Same as most other peoples comments really. In full: Just one point, I thought Worksop Harriers organised the event this year as opposed to the National Trust so was expecting the organisation to be much smoother....if you are going to have over 1000 runners turn up for a race you need about 10 lines of queues, not 4! In short: Tough First Half but got a little easier In full: Enjoyed this race as I only live a few mile down the road. I struggled a bit in the 1st half; especially with the uphill climbs. The 2nd half wasn't as difficult and the rain in the last mile was very welcome as I was starting to overheat a little! Date of review: August 10, 2008
In short: Well organised, great weather for running and a PB! In full: Really enjoyed this one, beat my PB by over 3 mins and despite a few climbs, from about Mile 8 it was mainly downhill! Plenty of water stations and the atmosphere at half way was superb! Bit confused after the race on how to get off the track and out as I couldn't find any marshalls at the end.
That aside though, it was all good! Date of review: April 27, 2008
