In short: Very good small club race, well organised, will be back again next year In full: One slight problem with the mailing of envelopes, all sorted via email and a nice apology from the RD on the day. Thanks all. Date of review: December 9, 2012
In short: Cannot argue with a 9 sec PB...... Chuffed, as usual Harldley Runners do not dissapoint with excellent organisation and fantastic marshals. In full: Do not be decieved, this is not an easy course, but it is a great course, esp if like me you like rolling courses, I run faster and better on these type of courses and love it.
The RD did a great job, thanks to you and your team for a great event, I will be back next year (again). Date of review: October 14, 2012
In short: small things like the MILE MARKERS 1 and 4 so out by a full .2m - unacceptable for a race of this quality - tried reporting it to RD who siad well done on a sub 5mm and siad garmins are always out.... Im not capable of a sub 5mm In full: Apert from this with the mile markers, this is an exceptional race with good PB potential, the memento was unique this year in a golden shoe, nice I like that.
Not sure about the compact start this year, but the finish area much better and less congested than previous years. As usual the marshall were excellent. Date of review: September 16, 2012
In short: All in all a very well ran club event for a decent half marathon.... a long (but not steep) hill at 4-5m and a drag at 10-11m, but still my overall PB course and favourite Half. Date of review: August 29, 2012
In short: The non-optional extras of mud and water this year made it an even better race - marshalls were so supportive esp as they were standing in the wet and cold. Excellent event even with the 2 hills, will be back again next year... Date of review: April 15, 2012
In short: If looking for a fast time a good solid race with no frills, but did have one negative today, see below. In full: Usually there are pens / marker boards for runners to stand at... all the announcer stated was if you are elite stand at the front everyone else stand behind..... all well and good but when you have clearly got runners who are start out at a jog / hour pace they should know where to start or be directed to start futher back in relation to their time, esp club runners who should know better.... whinge over nad can we see pens / marker boards back for next year please (as may stand corrected but they have been used in the past at Eastleigh). Overall still a good race especially if you want a good time.... Date of review: March 25, 2012
In short: Another very well organised race, excellent marshalls, playful hills but still fast and one of the best designed T-Shirts for a long time, thanks you Salisbury for yet another great event. Date of review: March 12, 2012
