In short: Great one!
In full: This was a good one made even better by the weather! I don't do a race for the goody bag and like others prefer the money to go to the charity. However, I was really disappointed not to get a medal.
The scenery is lovely and I just loved running along the seafront, something I have never done before.
Hopefully I will be back next year.

In short: Brilliant race
In full: I came back to do this again with the intention of beating last year's time but due to illness and injury this wasn't on but I had a brilliant time. It was hard but I got round which is the main thing and I will be back next year!

The organisers manage to pull this off like clockwork - well done to them!

In short: A well-organised up-beat race
In full: Loved the atmosphere before and after the race. The bottlenecks were a bit annoying but on the whole the different waves worked well.

My gripe is the baggage organisation. I queued for an hour to get to the front only to find that it was a free for all as nobody was there looking after them. They didn't seem to have been arranged in numerical order. Some bags were even out the back of the tent on the grass. Bearing in mind we had to be able to show our number to get our bags back, I would have thought the tent would have been manned.

In short: Bliddy weather!
In full: In spite of the weather, I did quite enjoy this race although it seemed to be very hard work when the wind was against me and when the hailstones were hitting me in the face! My garmin measured 13.32 which I just put down to not running the most economical distance..........

In short: Brilliant race - well marshalled!
In full: This is a favourite race of mine and I will be back next year. Many thanks to the organiser and all the marshalls. I was so glad that the problems with the course were ironed out - the extra marshalls did the trick!

In short: Brilliant!
In full: Was hard, well in comparison with flm (my only other marathon) but I thoroughly enjoyed it. AND I got a pb by 41 minutes! The organisation was great, the pasta party was great, and the food afterwards was really welcome - hot soup and jacket potato after running in torrential rain! Can't wait to do this again next year.

In short: I had a brilliant time!
In full: This race has got to be one of the friendliest ones around - the marshalls all had our names and cheered us on, there was plenty of water and the goody bag at the end was terrific - lunch! I am so glad I did it and will definitely do it again.

In short: Too hot, too crowded, not enough toilets or water
In full: I did this 2 years ago and only did this year's one as I was offered a charity place for my favourite charity. No way would I pay for this race. For the price of the entry I would expect at least a timing chip. The walk from the baggage area to the start and then again at the end is just a joke. It took us 35minutes once the race had started to get through the start line. I think this race is probably getting bigger each year and needs organising along the lines of flm where you are put into pens according to the time you expect to do.

In short: Good fun - was a good morning out
In full: Slightly short I think - my Garmin measured 6.18m which apparently is just a bit under the 10k (9.95). A nice flat run.
