In short: Challenging race but not impossible
In full: Very well organised apart from the messy number collection at the start. Flowers and beer were nice touches and a great medal.

A brilliant way to spend a birthday!

In short: Very low key and quiet marathon..away from the crowds..bliss.
In full: Cheeky undulations on this simple route with some good scenery. Plenty of water stations but plenty of traffic too, mind those swinging caravans!

In short: Fantastic Hastings as ever
In full: this is my 6th Hastings half and once again the whole town was out, its great to see a town get behind a race and its organiser. Can't fault the event. Enough water stations, roads closed, chip timed, PLENTY of water, lucozade and free tea at the finish + another great horse brass to add to my collection.

Unlike Bath..it always starts on time too ;-)

In short: As always a well organised event
In full: 4 year for me and still a great event, challenging course but with support from Budgens there were some nice touches...like the magnificent spot prizes!! Goody bag was very welcome and useful. Glad it started early as it was warm and left plenty of time for a picnic brunch by the pond.

In short: Good well established event - right on my doorstep!
In full: Apart from the medal shortage and a few timing mix ups there were no big problems. Any big event is going to have a few gliches.

Not sure what all the fuss about goody bags is about. Immediate needs were served, banana, choccy bar and water. Marshalls were friendly and encouraging. Course is in the main flat...with a couple of short sharpish climbs but nothing to worry about.
