In short: Abingdon is back and it's better than ever. Congrats to all.
In full: Loved it, even though I hit the wall at 23 miles! Thanks to all those who put some much into bringing it back and well done to the plentiful and friendly marshalls. Top marks to all.

In short: All the basics done very well
In full: This won't be a must-do race for many but it's a well-organised race on a decent, traffic-light (if hardly beautiful) course. The food and refreshments for finishers is a very nice touch - much better than a silly medal.

In short: The basics done well and a great town to run round!
In full: As always, an enjoyable race with a lot of nice touches. Very disappointed, however, to see the restoration of that tight alley entrance into the University Parks as part of the route again - a backward step on last year. Marshalls and helpers-out excellent as always.

In short: Faultless organisation, great route.
In full: Everything went like clockwork on a day when many races were cancelled because of snow. One of the best races I know and this year was no exception. I got a PB too, so I'm a happy camper!

In short: All the basics done very well. Great route with challenging climbs
In full: The toblerone at the end was a nice touch and the t-shirt was a welcome souvenir. Thanks and congrats to all involved, I enjoyed my morning's racing. This event deserves a bigger following but the hills probably put many off. I got a PB so I'm very happy. See you next year!

In short: Hard. Tough Conditions. Filthy. And quite brilliant!
In full: Race director (rightly) described conditions as both "abysmal" and "horrendous" but if challenging events is your thing then this great fun - in an exhausting and filthy sort of way. Oh that eye-watering wind! Oh those morale-destroying hills! Oh that strength-sapping mud! Brilliant!

In short: A decent event which very bad weather did nothing to spoil.
In full: I took part in the relay event, and would recommend this as a very different race experience. Great to be part of a team! The course was grimly urban and beatifully rural in equal measure. Marshalling was first rate - especially in that foul weather

In short: Small, friendly and well run.
In full: Hard to fault this event once again. An undulating course and hot weather make the Hooky 6 a stiff challenge, but the over-riding impression is of the excellent race management, friendly atmosphere, excellent goody-bag and top-notch t-shirt. Thank you Hook Norton Harriers!
