In short: Low key Bank Holiday event
In full: A nice little low key event, perfect bank holiday fare. Reasonably big field of 300, involving loads of kids, but some decent runnes at the front...I like to think finishing 2nd!

Delighted with the medal.

In short: Nice Little Boxing day burn to re awaken the legs after Christmas
In full: Good little race that is both low key and a good standard at the front! My sub 18mins pace probably didn't even get me into the top 20! A little 100metre or so climb on each of 3 laps meant that a bit of time is no doubt added to your time from a flat 5k...but all in all a nice little race.

Only problem with a 5k is 30mins later you are feeling so fine it's as if you've not run!!
Worked well with the Bell pub providing head quarters and a safe place to leave bags.

In short: Tough and multi terrain but well organised and some nice touches
In full: Got away with decent weather, but I could envisage one October being very wet which would make some bits of the course especially early on borderline dangerous.

However, we got lucky and a well organised number for what is a rotary club not an actal running club organising. That gets extra good points.
Good marshalling...even getting hellos rather than just getting the standard keep going and well dones esque comments.

Good extras such as vicar blessingbefore the race, medal engraving and suchlike made this a good offering. well done frieth!

In short: Testing course greatly helped my cold good condiitons rather than usual baking heat!
In full: having done this race in 2006 in the blistering heat was delighted to do it in a bit of rain and coldness!
This explains doing it over 1min 40 quicker than in 06...well that and a big ramping up in mileage!

In short: some tough inclines in scenic venue
In full: Had done this race in 2006, but forgotten it is some tough work! The multi terrain footing and constant ups and downs, some of them fairly steep made for a relieving feel at the finish

again as per 2006 the race had to be delayed. And again did I only see 2 toilets? Not good enough in a race with 400people.

In short: undulating multi terrain 10k or hm. One steep hill and couple of challenging climbss
In full: part of our club championship so around 15 marlow runners made their way to this event, split between the 10k and half.

Luckily opted for the 10k as one particular real tough climb at around 9k would have called for incredibly strong mental strength to get up again!!

Some challenging climbs, backed uy the other side of the coin, some nice downhills.
Multiterrain is definitely a fair description, with tarmac on roads, combined with mud trails, and also unstable rocky white gravel?!
Made for an enjoyable trip out, with the hot weather just about holding off!

In short: nice race but not pb material
In full: nicely organised apart from a 10min delay to the start due to the kids run not finishing!
The hill 7k on that seemed to last forever was quite hard even tho not that steep, just everlasting!!

In short: worth doing once..but thats all!
In full: OSD? has a great summary of this race.
The disused airfield makes for a souless 6-7k of this race...the wind you get in flat places made the conditions tricky at times

no medal or memento , yet a £7 fee is a bit harsh, no real expenditure bearing in mind only a small bit of road was used.
