In short: Excellent course this year, great support, Cooler than last year but windier
In full: The changes made to the course from last year have improved things greatly. Although there are still a few testing hills in the first half, they are nothing like the ones of last year. The support and drinks stations were excellent, the only slightly annoying thing was the relay changeover points which got in the way at times. The extry cost is high. This is slightly offset by the excellent organisation but a poor goody bag and no t-shirt (an extra £12) if you wanted one) were the only down points. I'll definately be back next year

In short: Fast flat fist half but don't get caught by the hills at 9.5 and 11. Hot weather but plenty of water stations. Nice t-shirt at finish

In short: Excellent race. Wonderful weather. Start made confusing
In full: Another excellently race although the start was confusing - Why did we run through the car park field and then onto the road? The provious start was far better.

Problems with the toilets amde up for by the nice touch of the raffle.

Plenty of water stations and encouragement in the heat.

will be back again next year

In short: Another Excellent year.
In full: This is the third year in a row I've run this and every year the organisation is excellent. The course itself is challenging but is an excellent spring marathon build up race. The wind made this years race tough but it was behind you for the past couple of miles of each lap which help at the end (especially on the last hill)I even managed 6 minutes better than last year!
Will be back again next year.
Thanks to all the marshalls on a cold day for their support

In short: Well organised race. tough course but very enjoyable
In full: the wind made the course even harder than the 8 miles of uphill already hadm but the weather was great and the organisation was good. Water stations well marshalled with plenty to go around.
the only slight moans were the temporany ropad surface you had to run on between 10 and 12 - I say someone fall over and twist their ankle on it! Also the gate to the school carpark (where we were told to park) was locked before the presentation had finished which was annoying.

All in all a good race and I'd come back again next year.

In short: Well organised & supported. Glorious scenary on a traffic free course. The weather made a big improvement on last year
In full: The course is challenging to say the least - with some long hills. The weather was lovely and the event was well organised and supported.

The temporary sheet over the grass at about 5 - 6 miles was better than the springboard from last year but maybe the course could be altered slightly to go around it?

T-shirt nice - what were the plasters all about?

Thanks

In short: Excellent organisation, Lovely course - shame about the weather
In full: A lot of races could learn from the organisation. A nice cup of tea/coffee in the tent at the end with a biscuit was a blessing with the weather, and the handshake was a nice touch

The course was good, with a tough hill at 4 mile.

thanks

In short: Hot, Hilly but excellently organised
In full: The change to the course certainly made it more challenging, especially in the heat. The university hills were tough after derby road, but it was definitly a change for the better.

Excellently organised and marshalled which made up for the higher entry fee. Drinks stations had plently and manned well.

A big thanks must go to everyone who helped run it.

In short: Excellent organisation, good course.
In full: A few steady hills but they are made up for with the downhills straight after. A two lap course with the second lap shorter. Potential for a PB if you don't mind hills.
