In short: Very very good. A simple well organised event.
In full: Since it was so good my criticisms are meant with the best intentions. Was the course a little short? I would agree with 9.8k. Still waiting to see results on website which were promised 'as soon as possible' - why is it taking so long?

In short: Amazing but what a shame the organisers cocked up the blue start adding on a couple of minute sto most runners times.

In short: A rock steady race that went like clockwork
In full: Perfect for pre-London albeit a bit dull. Served its purpose and well organised.

In short: An enjoyable Sunday morning run that was well worth getting out of bed for!
In full: Enjoyable in that it is quite a small and friendly half marathon. Execellent spectator support along the route - it was raining yet people still turned out. Would have been nice to have had a banana at the end. I'm sure Tesco or Sainsburys would be happy to donate. A good race for a first half marathon.

In short: A wonderful race, wonderfully organised, wonderful weather. Wonderful :o)
In full: Agree with most people so far except I actually like a t-shirt but as with many regular runners all I need is my banana and a cup of water at the end. Maybe it was just me but I could have done with the first water station being about a mile earlier. The finish line was a bit tricky to spot - I wasn't sure when to start my last burst and dip over the line. In fact I'm still not quite sure where the line was - I guess it was when someone scanned my number. Took me 17 seconds to cross the start line so I just deducted that from the official time which seemed about right. Changing facilities were good but I knew where they were (not in the park) - from the comments some people did not know they were in the Coliseum hence negative comments. I'm not convinced the mile markers were particularly accurate - my splits were all over the place and I am a very steady runner (even with hills). It was very sobering to overtake a runner with an artificial leg who was running at about 1:35 pace. Overall a fantastic morning and it has left me wanting to do another half marathon as soon as possible.
