In short: Good event - well organised, nice part of the world, fairly flat
In full: I think the starter said it was "slightly undulating" just before we set off - words that normally fill me with dread, as runners are terrible under-estimaters! But it actually is. There are a couple of climbs, but not severe. Very well organised and friendly - I will add this to my race calendar for next year and will look forward to it.

In short: Flat and quick, but hard to overtake at time. Very well organised. Will try to get back again next year. Got a PB!
In full: Had a great time. Well, you always do when you get a PB. However, this was well organised and all the marshalls and helpers were very friendly. The start was a bit crowded and there are parts of the course where it is difficult to pass anyone, which can be a bit frustrating when you are feeling quite good. The village looks lovely, even on a dull, cold November morning, but running along the main roads takes some of the scenic value away. T-Shirt at the end. Very flat, so definite potential for a PB (I got one!), unless you get very held up in those narrow bits (or are brave enough to run on the slippery grass to get round people). Gets booked up well in advnace, so you have to apply early.

In short: Had a great day - met new people and loved the run
In full: I wasn't aiming for a PB, but this course definitely has potential for one. I ran with a couple of friends and we all enjoyed the whole thing. And I met a couple of RW-forum people for the first time, which was a bonus. The weather was cool and overcast with a few light showers - perfect for running a long way. All the organisers and marshals were friendly. All in all, it was a great day with several things to recommend it and nothing to say against it. Well, the start was a little bit chaotic, but now I'm being really picky.

In short: Nice scenery and traffic free. Doing the hill twice hurts. Needs a drink station somewhere on the route.
In full: I enjoyed this race, except for the hill which was quite painful on both occasions. It's a lovely park to run through and great to face very little traffic. I was gasping for a drink, but no drinks station - with it being two loops, they'd only need one to keep us all happy. I thought the little plastic bag as a "prize" was a bit disappointing (and rather smelly!). But it was friendly and seemed well organised. I expect to be back next year.
