In short: An Excellent Local Race
In full: This ticks all the boxes without being flashy, a really good day out. I appreciate the new car park too. Well done all those involved inthe event

In short: Good Fun to Run by the Animals before the Hills Bite Back
In full: What is a testing hilly course was made tougher by the searing heat on the hottest day of the year. But the organisation was good and the marshalls and two drinks stations were excellent.

This made for a nice end of season run to enjoy with friends and family, where my daughter enjoyed the fun run and we all enjoyed a relaxed day in the park, with a picnic and lashings of icecream.

In short: A Good Race but nothing Special
In full: Now I enjoyed the race and the surroundings, but the course has a couple of switchbacks which make maintaining pace hard, I liked the laps but catching others is demoralising for them and taxing to dodge at the end for us. I liked the towel a useful change to medals/mugs. I'll probably be back.

In short: The Very Definition of Undulating
In full: The Alton 10 is either uphill or downhill never flat, but the hills are neither long or steep, just enough to create a challenge and stop you getting into a constant stride. The course aside, the event is really well organised, plenty of water, good marshalls, excellent value for money in a nice part of the world. This year the weather was cool which certainly helped to record faster times.

In short: A Excellent Race that Asks a Few Questions of Your Legs
In full: A wonderful location for a race that was supremely organized. I really enjoyed the course even the incredibly steep bits the marshall were friendly and the atmosphere was superb. It was also nice to see the sponsor (fast forward) running the race and doing well. I will be back next year.

In short: Probably the Best Race in the World
In full: This is the first race on my calander each year and I arrive with great expectations and they are always exceeded. The organisation floorless, marshalls in the key places, 16.1 miles marked without exception, key road junctions marshalled and policed, good facilities at the finish and wonderfull cakes.

AND the scenery is superb, wonderful views over thousands of acres of british countryside, watching red kites dance in the skys above your head.

Also this year there was a proposal of marriage by banner pulled by a plane overhead (she said yes!).

This is a race everyone should do at least once

In short: An Excellent Day Out
In full: A big thank you to the organisers; this is an excellent race, from start to finish. The car parking is ideal, toilet queues not too long, T-Shirt design the best yet, quality field to race in, super fast course (I was trying too hard to notice the scenery sorry!), lovely marshalls, good crowds, wonderful cake/banana/water at the end, plenty of room to chat and watch team mates come in, easy to spectate at (this is the only race the family come to) and despite predictions otherwise excellent weather, now that is organisation!

In short: A Good Race Made Great
In full: As one of the few who enjoyed last year, i had no trepidation in returning. The course is lovely with plenty to hold the attention, gliders, planes, hovercraft, rainbows, seafront, art deco architecture the list goes on you just need to look. The marshalls were great and gave good encouragement especially in the swim section! The goodie bag was amazing but the best bit was the homemade slice of CAKE, thank you whoever baked it and bagged it I enjoyed it very much. Oh and I got a PB so thanks again Gosport RR.
