In short: Great Race and well organised
In full: Superb support throughout the half and full marathon. Well stocked drinks stations. Brilliant weather. Thought that the course had improved since 2004. The University section and Woolaton Park were quite scenic and I enjoyed running along the Trent from Mile 22 onwards. Only minor gripe was getting into and out of Car Park A.This took ages and next time I would go to Car Park B and walk.

In full: Superbly scenic challenging 10k, brilliant weather, great atmosphere. When they said rough track, they really did mean it! Great fun. A lot of runners started to walk near the top of the second hill-still it was at 1300ft!

In short: Challenging hilly 10k
In full: Three hilly laps around Cheddleton. Coming past the start for the last lap you knew that the steepest hill on the course was there ahead of you. Third time round it slowed me down considerably! Great atmosphere, well marshalled and supported considering the cold wet weather

In short: Well organised race with cheery marshals, despite the cold we windy weather. A few hills but nothing too hideous and a goody bag like nothing you have seen before.

In short: Race benefitted from good weather conditions (not too hot or cold with little or no wind)
In full: Third time I have run the Macc half. Enjoyed it so much more than 2003. Had plenty of energy towards the end and this time I was ready for the climb from 10 to 12 miles!
