In short: Fantastic, as ever from this series
In full: Brilliant organisation, friendly marshalls, good food afterwards, amazing course - tough but rewarding and scenic. The whole series has been a credit to the organisers and I'm just posting my entry for next year! A great introduction to trail running and so welcoming to all, fast and slow alike. Thank you.

In short: Well-organised, very friendly and a fast course
In full: A great day out - lovely course, friendly and encouraging marshalls, good atmosphere, something for the spectators. Amazing local support with drinks and sponges and lots of encouragement. Plenty of water stations, more sponges and showers - very welcome even in the rain.

Thank you Brian and your team for your excellent organisation and wonderful race!

In short: Fantastic! Challenging but well worth it.
In full: Excellent organisation, very friendly marshalls, great atmosphere, amazing scenery including a fortified farmstead and ever-changing views of the Lakes. This is an amazing route, challenging and steep in places (most places) but the sense of satisfaction on completion is second to none. Well done Graham and Claire.

In short: Great challenging race.
In full: Bit surprised at the fast start but managed to maintain my postition at the back quite well. First trail race, will be doing more. Really enjoyable weekend, great atmosphere, loads of stuff going on, fantastic food in the little wagon. Well done Graham and Claire.

Hills were hilly but isn't that why we entered in the first place? Roll on Garburn...

In short: Great day out in a wonderful setting
In full: Very strange distance markers - only 1, 2, 5 and 6 miles marked rather than kms. Undulating but runnable course. Friendly marshalls even in the driving snow. Great day out.
