In short: All went like clockwork.
In full: As usual getting the right place in the line up was hit and miss but got to the start in 3 minutes. Undulating first half included some short steep climbs which broke the pace up a bit.

Second half circuit featured a long stint exposed to the wind around holme pierpont water sports centre but by that stage hardly noticed.

Will be back in 2008.

In short: course changes meant some extra hills at start but they coped with the warm weather very well, no problems getting fluid.
In full: The second half of the marathon avoids bulit up areas so is pleasant but I cannot help wonder if I might have been a bit more motivated if there where more spectators.

The organisation seemed even slicker this year and the addition of Lucozade as a sponsor meant lots of enery drinks.

In short: Race excellent but needs improved meeting point for uniting finishers with family.
