In short: Great well-organised, traffic-free 10K
In full: The first time I've done the High Ongar 10K and I was very impressed. Organisation was great, marshals were supportive & friendly, course was flat and traffic-free. Would definitely recommend that you give it a go!

In short: Wet and cold .... but it is December so what did we expect?!!
In full: Great support from the marshalls all the way round - thank you! Up-hills not as bad as I worried they might be and the downhills were a welcome relief. Enjoyed the run despite the weather and even though I couldn't undo my laces at the end as my hands were so numb!

In short: Great race in a lovely location
In full: Was relieved to find that the hills weren't quite as bad as I'd been led to believe! Lovely course through autumnal woodland and park. Good support and organisation from marshalls and I liked the informal, relaxed style of the event. Memento made a nice change from another oversized T-shirt!

In short: Top banana!
In full: Really well organised event, marshalls did a fantastic job supporting us & taking their lives into their hands on the bypass to make sure we were safe!
Chip timing is always a bonus for those of us who don't cross the start line when the clock starts! Thumbs up for the bananas at the finish!
All in all a great 10K, I'll be back next year.

In short: Wonderful scenery and gloriously flat - fantastic for my first half!
In full: Really enjoyed my first half marathon at Lake Vyrnwy. The weather was perfect, the course was almost totally flat (with an incline that I didn't notice in the first mile but that I really enjoyed coming back down in the last mile!). The organisation was great and the home-made sandwiches and cakes at the finish were very welcome.

In short: Lovely sunny day, very enjoyable to run, well organised. Look forward to doing it next year!
In full: Timing chip was a great idea but as some other people have said we would have welcomed advice on what to do with it and where to wear it!!
