In short: Great as always
In full: This was my 2nd go at this race and the standard was just as good as last time. The race is very well organised with good communication. The time keepers at the end are very good at their job. Gongrats to the guy who broke the course record today!

In short: Quick course and good marshalls
In full: ok...made it through. Helluva confusion at the start with only 1 working loo for all the men and a delayed start. Once we got going I really enjoyed the race. The marshalls were friendly and the course flat. Ok, grumble time (sorry)....I was almost ran over by a double decker bus after 4.5 miles and electrocuted by a falling electric cable and the queue for water was back past the finish line.

(Grumble over) The organisers did their best and smiled all the way. Everyone else was happy and I managed a great time so......I'll still do it next year.

I'm off to the pub!

In short: Remind yourslef that running is fun!
In full: This is a great morning. A Bagpipe led march to the start followed by 5k of santa suits blowing in the wind like parachutes. Top marks to the big-headed santa with four legs and the santa-stuck-in-the-chimney outfits. Do this race for fun and keep the PB for another day.

In short: Great race - great surface and smiley marshalls
In full: This was great fun. I managed a PB which alwyas helps but the organisers and marshalls were great and smiled the whole time. The route is on a good surface with a coule of gentle hills that make things interesting but not too hard. I strongly recomend this race and this is before mentioning the bridies and tea after the race and presentations by a world record holder!

In short: Loved it - picture perfect autumn day in the park
In full: Did this in November. I turned up early and had a good chat with the marshalls who were very friendly and helpful.
The race goes around the park 3 times and is very flat and enjoyable - the autumn leaves in the trees were picture perfect.
The field had a mix of club runners and others and is really welcoming to everyone.

This was only my second 5k and I can't wait to do it again - thanks to the organisers.

In short: Fantastic feeling with the large crowd - excellent support all round the course - lots of people cheating the wave system though!
