In short: My first half marathon, now looking forward to the next
In full: race itself was good, although my son was looking forward to the fun run, we were not advised before the race that under 10's are not allowed to race without an adult. Dissapointing communication. As for the momento .... less said the better ... medal would of been much better than that!

In short: Fantastic Race
In full: Wonderful event organisation. I agress that the goody bag should of been better for the money involved.
My biggest thank you has to go to the rows and rows of spectators that were prepared to stand out in the rain watching us. Personally i loved this fast flat race around a great city and ould do it again. Im happy ith my time and my place. Thank you Portsmouth.

In short: Lovely Location but room for improvement
In full: My major issue was with the distance markers. I did not even see markers for 7k and 8k. The distance was hugely questionable between 5k and 6k and again between 6k and 7k. Water stations were ok - good to see two of them on a 10k course.
Event was well marshalled and although the ground underfoot was uneven and there were a fair few bottlenecks it made the course a bit more challenging. The finish was great, a short sprint around the cricket field into a crowd of people. Very good. One final Niggle - The medal!? Very cheap and plasticy!

In short: Soooo many people, Sooo Little Space
In full: Overall Nike had great facilities and organisation, This was the biggest event i have done and in my opinion everything went liek clockwork. If i had some complaints it would have to be the fact there was so little space to run, alot of people in a relatively small controlled course. Having said that, the weather was good, Organisation was excellent and atmoosphere was great. The whole North South divide added to the atmosphere and was great - a bit of extra competiveness never hurt anyone. Also made a New PB so cant complain at all.

In short: Great Race on a Hot Day
In full: I felt this race was well organised and as a beginner to this distance felt it was a little challenging - which was good. Had some great scenary and all in all was a wonderful day. The Value was fantastic and the Fun Run for the kids was brilliant - my two enjoyed it. Great Day. Although the Marshalls were excellent I felt that there was 2 or 3 areas of improvment. 1) Number of water stops should of been increased to two, 2)couple more Marshalls toward the end informing runners of which way to go. Also I was waiting for a friend to come in at the end and the Derogatory comments coming from the Marshall at the end was not good. One comment was " slow runners should be banned" This sort of comment is not nice!

In short: My First 5 Mile Run and i couldnt of wished for better
In full: Although I have only done a 5k and this 5 Mile race, I found the welcome for beginners fantastic. The venue was set in beautiful Bedfordshire countryside and on a nice cool evening while the sun was low in the sky was a wonderful setting for a run. Picture Perfect. The Course itself was tricky for me as a beginner as the course itself involved many hills and corners. Was a lovely course all in all and I felt wonderful to finish. Better than i had expected. The Event organiser did very well and Cranfield Uni was a great host. If i had one small comment I would ask for a Medal rather than a Tee. But hey thats my own preference. Thanks to everyone involved and see you next year for sure.

In short: Fantastic Race and PB Potential. Great Race.
In full: I was a beginner and found this race perfect for me to start my race experience. Everyone was friendly, the course was laid out clearly and there were plently of Marshall and organisational staff there to help. Very well presented in Marston Vale Forest park, I may have to take the family for a picnic now! Great first race for me, My time 23.13. So im happy.
