In short: Fantastic route, atmospheric and friendly. Can't wait to do it in good weather! In full: What a course!! Even in the rain! So pleased I ran this and not Bath. I wish I lived nearer and could run this in training - I envy those that can! On-course marshalling was fantastic, and spectator turn-out amazing in that weather, thanks to you all. Only blip was having to wait 20 mins at the end for my park and ride. Would already be entering for next year if I could :-) Date of review: March 16, 2008

2008 Llanelli Waterside Half-Marathon

In short: OK, but the route is too much "turn round the cone and back the way you came" for me In full: Didn't mind the wind, and loved the terrain. But I think the route would suit a 10K better. In my training runs, I try to avoid running to a point, and just turning round - find that a bit soul-destroying. Preferred the Cardiff Half by miles.
