In short: Well organised, tough race, lovely scenery
In full: This was my third year doing this race and as usual it was really well organised with the free photo at the end and great long sleeve t shirt.
Its a tough race and you need to have done your hill training but the downhills were just as great. Excellent marshalls and support.

In short: Not the most inspiring race
In full: Wanted a half so that I could achieve my under 2 hours goal, and that I did (just) Definately not enough toilets at the start and I nearly missed my start because of that. The route was not very inspiring although Bristol itself is a lovely place. The last part through the town and round some park track was just de moralising. Glad I did it but prob wouldn't bother again.

In short: Hilly in places, up and down.
In full: Very challenging route with the most spectacular scenery. If you want to get a good time you need to be near the front to start as there are a couple of bottlenecks near the start. Personally I was quite happy to wait. The first hill at 3 miles went on and on and on. Some great downhills and flats and then the hill near the end that was steep but didn't go on for too long. My hat goes off to anyone who managed to run them. There were arrows everywhere so you didn't get lost but there were a couple of nasty falls and I think there should have been more marshalls on route as the ground was very uneven and slippery and had there been a nasty accident it would have taken some time to get help.

In short: Well organised, challenging and cold....
In full: This was my 3rd year doing this race and as usual it ran like clockwork. The organisation is always great. The first 3 miles are challenging but after that very enjoyable. Great t shirt and goody bag. Has to be the coldest and windiest place in the world. Great bacon roll too.....

In short: Lovely route, challenging in places
In full: Not that many runners which was a shame but there were lots of other races going on on the same day.
Lots of encouraging marshalls but some of the road crossings were a bit dodgy.
Lovely route and a good mix of ups and downs. The last hill was a bit mean but a lovely downhill to finish. Unusual medal and welcome banana.
Would definately do it again. Very friendly race.

In short: Definately challenging.....
In full: I under estimated this race and went off too quick and paid for it on the hills. Great mix of grass, mud, road, and some corker hills. Great organisation, lovely cakes and hog roast available at the end and nice t shirt to. Glad I made the effort.

In short: Lovely scenery, great organisation
In full: Great race, thought it was going to be hilly but I think it was more "undulating" Had it been a couple of days earlier we would have been swimming. Fair amount of mud and pudddles but great fun. Nice medal at the end and great cakes as with all the teignbridge trotter races. See you next year.

In short: Well organised, fantastic scenery, great goody bag.
In full: First time at this event, the first 2 laps of the green helped settle you into your pace although a little crowded in some spots. Hills were challenging but no where near as bad as I was expecting. The organisation was spot on. Plenty of water stops which unfortunatley meant a lot of discarded cups to jump over. A sponge station would have been a great help but there was a nice chap with his hose pipe out at half way which was a blessing. Great for supporters with the finish running alongside the beach. Hats off to St Johns ambulance who I saw were quite busy.
Great goody bag with medal and t shirt. Well done to everyone involved, can see why it fills up so quick.

In short: Great route, challenging but not over the top
In full: This race was very well organised. The route was great although approx 60% of it was on road so off road shoes did me no favours. A couple of challenging hills made more so because of the heat and the sting in the tail was just plain mean. LOL.
Nice mug, nice goody bag. I hope this one becomes a regular race, great atmosphere.
