In short: Fantastically tough but fantastic 10k
In full: Absolutely the hardest 10k I've run (ok, there haven't been many but I'm a cabbage patch flat kinda girl!)Had to walk some of the last hill (or die) and I still want to come back next year!
Brilliant course, fab organisation, really challenged but laughed all the way round that something so painful could be such fun!
Thanks Oddballs.

In short: Fantabulous!
In full: Great race - scenic, varied terrain, challenging enough ups with lovely zoomy downhills as a reward. Organisation and communication excellent throughout. Very safely marshalled across some busy junctions, and great finish atmosphere - most kept going over the line until they reached the cakes!
Thanks to all the fire station crew and the marshalls for making it a memorable experience. Would be a brilliant first race for anyone.

In short: Pretty, but pretty short?
In full: Lovely parkland setting, flat but a few dodgy turns over bridges and round the lakes, made it more interesting though.
Garmin measured at 9.3 km - didn't cut that many corners so interested to know what others thought.Nice climacool hat in goody bag, t shirt, medal, keyring etc.Organisation slightly lacking, but a small charity event so not a huge problem.5 mins walk from home, so will be doing it next year!

In short: Great atmosphere - great laugh.
In full: Found this rather challenging,3rd 10 k but previous 2 on flat tarmac. However great fun, brilliant amosphere, everyone really encouraging on out and back course.Organisation straightforward and spot on. Marshalls were all lovely,Don't even mind about the purple ankle from rabbit hole encounter at 4km - still finished in a good time for me(1:03 ish )

In short: So good I've done it twice!
In full: A little daunting for a relative newbie runner looking at all the fast fit bods at the start, and with the talk of how tough the course is, but very friendly and welcoming nonetheless!Lovely woodland scenery, great organisation and encouraging volunteers, and only one bloomin great hill!
Also excellent feedback with all the results, stats and photos available gratis from the website.

In short: First 10k - very welcoming, familiar route anyway but well marshalled. Nice glass memento too.
