In short: nice to be back
In full: haven't done this one for a few years and glad I did again today. A toughie but all levels gave it a go. Nicely low-key but I think thats what makes it attractive. Good winning times(and especially in the juniors 3m fun run). Great day out - thanks CRC.

In short: great to come back
In full: Did this a couple of years ago and really glad to have come back for another go. Can't praise it highly enough. Sponges as well as water were a great addition. Good support. And the goody bag (tee/bottle/medal/AND kit bag)!!!!! Excellent value for money. I think that limiting numbers is wise too considering the twisty parts of the course. Thank you everyone who helped with organising this

In short: relaxed
In full: local but nevertheless a wonderfully laid-back affair. the lack of numbers was a first for me but thankfully didn't cause too many problems (although if more arrive in following years it might), excellent effort for a first time event. quite a tough little course with a climb from 2-3 miles but I had a lady from my running group complete it as her first run so equally attainable. Well done hsvcc - see you next year?

In short: only thing missing was the mud - but you can't help the weather
In full: Free T; Free pint; glorious day; BBQ; what more could you want? (Oh the race wasn't bad too haha). Excellent value for money - thank you VERY much Bitton Road Runners. You put most of the others to shame!

In short: hot
In full: Sorry to mark this down for PB and beginner friendliness but definitely NOT PB course (unless its the only 20k you've ever done)and from the amount ache today I feel that you would have to 'prepare' for this run. That said, lovely mix of runners and I do love the camaraderie at these sorts of lunatic events. I still can't get over the spedd of some of the kamikaze's down the suicidal slopes!! . Great event that every should have a go at

In short: Big Events like Bath could learn from this!
In full: Everything you want - easy (free) parking near the start, restricted numbers to prevent (too much) congestion, nice course, great support from the town!
I too was surprised by the 'undulations' (although they WERE metioned on RW, AND I've done this event before duh!)
For the money I felt the medal/banana/water were ample and you could also but a t if you felt the need. Really DO wish the bigger events like Bath would take a leaf out of Fleet's book - and listen to what the RUNNERS say. Well done Fleet and Crookham

In short: DONT ADVERTISE A T SHIRT THEN NOT GIVE ONE!
In full: Very VERY disappionted with this run - especially as i have been wanting to it for a few years now (last year snowed off). On arrival at HQ found free t shirts (from LAST year) that had obviously been back to the manufacturer to have 'snowed off' printed on them
RW had this advertised as having a memento AND t shirt and on completion of today I was also told to go back to HQ to collect my t shirt

End result - NO TSHIRT, NO MEMENTO!!

Maybe being childish but todays run was really hard work and to have absolutely nothing to show for it is a bit of a kick in the teeth

Off my soap box now - BIG BIG thankyou to all the marshalls who must've been freezing in the terrible conditions to give up they're sunday for us
