In short: Fantastic!!
In full: This was my fifth time running the London Marathon, and this was easily the best supported...A 26.2 mile street party, well done London, and thank you Flora for 14 years of supporting the event. I'm gonna miss them yellow and green balloons at each mile marker - I truly uplifting sight, every time you see one, counting down each mile....

In short: Glorious Scenery
In full: Very well organised event. The course is quite hilly, however the long downward stretchs make up for the 3-4 steep upward climbs.
Excellent for spectators, as they get to see the start, 3k, 7k and the Finish all within a short walk from the car park.

Will definetly be back next year!

In short: Very poorly organised
In full: The final straight of this run, you had to run head on to oncoming traffic coming out of a car park, utter joke.

The actual run was very enjoyable, nice scenery, and plenty of marshalls on course.

Very tough course with 3 long steep climbs.

May be back nexy year, but only if no other races on that day.

In short: Poorly organised
In full: Start was a shambles. I turned up at the collage at 10.30, registered, went to the loo. I then found out that the start was a mile away, and ended up running for 10 mins to the seafront. Can I suggest to the organisers that the registration is as the start, not the finish !

First half of the race is a very nice run along the seafront, the second half not as good, could have done with a few more marshalls to stop traffic.

Goody bag, was a certificate, lots of leaflets and a cereal bar...oh and a cheap shoe brush!

In short: Very fast course
In full: I ran this instead of the Great North Run, and for me, this race is better, simply because getting in and out of Portsmouth is so much easier by train (not sure why so many people need to drive!). Very well organised, weather was good for running as rain kept people cool and there was no wind. "Goody" bag, was really a bag full of leaflets with a drink and T shirt thrown in, could have done with something edible in it.

Lots of support on course, nice to see bits of Portsmouth Ive never seen before. Course is flat, and made for a pb (wind permitting) ; will defintely be back next year.

In short: Nice scenic run
In full: Most of the first half of the race is uphill, but the 2nd half is quick.

Though event was well marshalled, good water stops etc, so well done the organisers.

Will be back next year.
