In short: A good event, but that wind just took the edge of it.
In full: Could be a pleasant run or even a have the potential for a PB course but this year it was just too windy. The traffic was not really that much of a problem apart from the odd Peugeot driver! And the water in the cups was okay, it gave me an excuse for a short breather. But there was no water stations between 3.5miles and 8.5miles which a found a bit odd especially the time of year the event takes place. But all in all a good day I'll be back next year.

In short: Well, the first half it didn't rain....
In full: Great day, a very special event. Didn't really notice the organisation, which is how it should be but very much appreciated. The rain in the second half of the race was a Godsend and although I was warned countless times about the final "hill" nothing prepared me for that. This is going to be a regular in my calendar, hopefully we'll be there for 50th anniversary.

In short: My first race, very enjoyable although a cruel second lap. Good support most of the way round just a pity I was too tired to appreciate the stadium finish. I feel good today and got the bug, where next.
