In short: Poor compared to last year
In full: As everyone else said, not as good as last year and expensive for what you get. I have entered cheaper 10kms with T-Shirts given etc etc.

In short: Fast race with a short sharp hill that you do twice!
In full: Great run, ran with Mrs RB, but if raced would be a very quick course with near to PB if not PB. Two laps makes it nice for the spectators, but did not make it feel like a drag. Thanks to all.

In short: Great thanks to all!
In full: Good race with a nice easy uphill for the first 3 miles and then a great long downhill hill for mile 4. Then nothing over 50ft of climbing until mile 10 with a nice downhill to mile 11 to catch up on time. A 75ft climb and then a nice fast last mile and onto the finish straight.

All in all only 500 ft of climbing so nothing too bad at all.

Interesting start with no notice of it so started at the back with many slower runners starting near the front and running in nice row for the first mile, maybe some segmentation at the start, not easy as we had to go out onto the road and obviously not stop traffic for too long, but a suggestion.

A note more than a complaint, parking was fun when we got there, the centre car park was full so end up quite some way away so be warned!!

In short: Top race organised by top people - just do it!
In full: A great race with some nice touches.
Started too fast as usual and suffered the last few miles and missed my target by 15 seconds!
Cannot recommend this race enough.
Just remember to take £1 to pay for the showers or it is a long cold walk back to the car!!

In short: Great race, big hills in the second half!
In full: Hi, if you are reading this thinking should I do it, I would say go for it. It was hard with muddy bits, but really worth it for the views and sights of the glorious coastline.

Hilly in the second half. I clocked 3750ft of climbing.

Interesting enough, the first half was +155ft and the second -166ft over all, but do not let this fool you. 6 big hills with 4 of them in the second half. Negative splits are out unless you are superhuman!! I did 1H46 for the first 10.5 miles and 2H37 for the second. My legs did turn to jelly on the hill out of Branscombe, about 420ft in 0.40 of a mile.

About an hour and 26 mins slower than my best 21 miles.

Overall though a great run rather than a race!

In short: Great - but hard!
In full: Felt good before I started this, what with 10 halfs and a full under my belt and normally averaging 8:30 min/mile for the halfs I thought this would be a bit harder, but I would be fine - NO! I struggled badly! The only race I have ever considered pulling out of, and that was after 1.5 Mile!

Very well organised, nice T-shirt, medal and hat!

Only suggestion is to avoid Stonehenge on the way home!! Never knew there were so many druids in this country!!

Thanks Dr Rob
