In short: Great event for an excellent cause - despite the weather!
In full: This is becoming a perennial favourite for many and this year's was a great event despite absolutely appalling conditions (wind, rain, sleet and snow!). The marshalls were excellent - enthusiatic, encouraging and smiling despite being soaked and frozen. The only areas for improvement are access to the clubhouse and marshalling the car parks, anything else forgiven due to the weather.

In short: Fun event and a good challenge
In full: Thanks to Burnham Joggers for putting on a great event, the best marshalls I've seen in ages - really supportive and enthusiastic! Great setting but with killer steps that completely throw your rhythm. Only minor gripe is the distinct lack of toilets.

In short: First-timer friendly
In full: This was my first half-marathon and I enjoyed it overall. The course was challending (killer hill) but not ridiculous. The main downers were lack of bag storage, insane lack of toilets (those that were there were insanitary) and the car parking (it took well over an hour to get out). That said it was a friendly race and one that I'll probably come back for.

In short: Great race for all abilities
In full: This was my first time in the O20 and it was a very good experience. Well organised and other runners were very friendly too.

In short: Nice race, gently undulating course!
In full: The organisers seem to really know their business with this race although they could probably improvae signage to the admin and start areas. Most of the stewards were friendly and supportive. Only my second race but I felt quite comfortable there so it's definitely good for beginners as well as serious club runners.
