In short: Well organised and friendly race.
In full: Thank goodness there was some shade on the way round the trial path and back lanes. Hard work in the heat today but ticks all the 10K boxes. One for the diary next year.

In short: Nice flat run by the sea-side.
In full: Well organised. Great conditions. Wasn't expecting a medal for a 5 miler let alone an engraved one. Good race - would certainly do it again.

In short: Undulating run (ie mildly hilly!) in the autumn sunshine
In full: Well organised and especially well marshalled - thank you Maidstone Harriers. Would agree that the start could have been better managed. Off went a horn and the stampede began. Didn't particularly enjoy the first few miles along the main road hopping on and off the pavement but the return leg undulating Pilgrim's way was fine and the scenery was great on a cold sunny day. Amazingly like other reviewers managed a PB which was remarkable as the course is a little sporting in places (maybe the Dublin marathon training has paid off!!) - hurdled through the nettle path somewhere around 6 miles. Support was scanty to say the least but all in all certainly worth the effort - glad I entered. Nice memento too.

In short: A most enjoyable and scenic race. Sunny too!
In full: Personally had no problems with the parking - arrived early (as advised) and managed to park very close to exit so escaped easily, but agree needs to be better organised next year especially if there are plans for more competitors as has been suggested. On that note, overtaking was very difficult especially on the towpath between miles 4 and 6 - single file in places but after that managed to find my own space (scenery was great here though). Perhaps 2000 competitors should be the limit. Difficult hill between 8 and 9 miles - the climb must have been significant as the last 3 miles+ was downhill which was great. Nice to have use of Henley RFC facilities for changing and a cup of tea afterwards. In all a great morning out - one for the diary for next year. Well done the organising committee.

In short: Well organised and friendly race by the seaside.
In full: Not surprised race entry more than doubled from last year and I'm sure next year's entry will be larger. Well organised and marshalled. Great conditions today. Would have been on for a PB if it wasn't for the infamous hill a mile from the end (glad to see I wasn't the only one struggling!) - never mind - there's always next year...

In short: Well organized 1/2M - in the diary for next year.
In full: Best marshalled race I've run in. Didn't have to slow down at any road junctions. Nice memento (was expecting a key fob or silmilar). A few climbs as displayed on the chart in the race info but the 3 mile descent to the finish was welcome after the hill at 9-10 miles. Well done the organising committee - will be back next year.
