In short: top notch race, well organised, a must do race
In full: From the reviews I was expecting brutal hills, but these didn't materialise thankfully! Stayed dry which was good because in the wet I suspect the race would be harder!
Well marshalled and organised. The course was clearly marked at all points. Top notch facilities - plenty of clean toilets and showers, which was great.
Thanks to the 2 girl marshalls at 7km who gave encouragement. Please tell the cadets to make some noise next yr - that is my only gripe!
Great value race with excellent goodie bag.
Fantastic to have it on a Sat morning of a mountain biking w/e.
Will be back next yr....

In short: Great race, good value, definitely be back...
In full: Good race in london, which is good value. Bag drop was efficiently run. Scenery made you feel that you weren't in london, which was nice.
Marshalls did an efficient job of making sure no wrong turns were made.
This is not pancake flat, but neither is it v hilly. The 2 hills are not that long and is rewarding to see a race that is not totally flat!
Do agree with other comments that online entry would be great. And also some kind of start/finish line.

Overall a good race and well organised.

In short: well organised, good scenery, great race
In full: Excellent race in great scenery and well organised.
Come and run this race before it gets too popular.
More club runners than beginners, but did not feel intimidating.
There were only around 70 runners, which is far better than the mass participation races where there are too many people.
Really enjoyable race.

In short: Decent race, but organisation could be better
In full: It was a good race, but there was sometimes a lack of marshalls so it was difficult to know where to go. There was also a lack of distance markers but this wasn't a huge problem. The organisers definitely did their best to make it a welcoming race.

In short: Run this before more people run it - top notch again......
In full: Run this race for the scenery and the hills!! Well organised again. 3rd yr on the trot for me, but will keep coming back. Top notch race, but not for the faint hearted! More people running it each year. If you run it once you will be back!

In short: Simply run this race before everyone does.....
In full: Have run this race for the past 3yrs. It gets better each time!! There is a fair degree of pain involved as Mastilles lane is brutal!! Live in london and travel back with my brother to run the half marathon each yr. Another scorcher this yr. Well organised friendly race. Great facilities. No problems parking. This is where my parents live. Is great to come back and appreciate the scenery and the hills!!! Before it gets too busy I recommend you run this one.
