In short: More hills than I thought with little flat running until mile 5
In full: Good race, car at the start was a bit strange as nobody stopped her pulling into the start.
Could do with more people handed out water at the mid point station, only one handing out and one filling hte cups, I skipped it as too many people waiting for water. My Garmin made the race 7.84 which was a surprise but may be due to the hills? Could be a bit disheartening for runners towards the back as on the way to cars we all walk passed them in the opposie direction.
Overall a good race with the final 1.25 mile on the drive being good.

In short: just amazing! hurt like hell but well worth it!!
In full: I think the marshalls were some of the best I have come in across since I started running about 10 odd races ago. I hope they realise that I little comment and laughing at one of our stupid jokes they probably hear from everyone really makes a difference and gives runners a fresh spring in our step. I really appreicate it!!!! Dr Rob, great race def be bck next year!

In short: Hills were painful, running was tricky due to conditions in some places but overall a good fun race!
In full: Start seemed very relaxed compared to most races and finding it wasn't clearly marked although signs for car parks were everywhere.
Hills are really tough and the ice on the roads made going downhill tricky work sometimes.
Overall worth doing though as a tester before any marathon really kicks in
