In short: It's more of an event to experience than a race for a PB
In full: I had a great weekend. The travelling was a drag but it was definitely worth it. The atmosphere was amazing, support was superb and organisation was second to none.
The only problem was getting through runners/walkers who'd started way way ahead of their predicted time slot. It was a challenge weaving through so many people, which took quite a bit of concentration.
I came away with a PW of 2.03 (PB is 1.46) but I didn't go there for a time, I went for the experience and what an experience it was too!

In short: Needs attention to detail
In full: Ran it last year...had a great race and a PB, no problems at all. This year, however the organisation seemed to be a little below par. Too many entries on the day meant that the start was delayed, no medals for the kids in the 2k race and worst of all only one water station on a very hot day...too little too late in the race.
I got a tshirt but apparently if you entered online (costing you more) you didn't get a tshirt.
On the plus side, plenty of toilets with no queues, clear KM markers and a nice finish in the Millenium Stadium.
I still like the race, but the organisers need to take note of criticisms.
