In short: A Marvellous Marathon In full: An excellent race for both runners and spectators. A great course that was pure speed in the second half (shame my legs couldnt take advantage of it!). The support on route was fantastic and was a real boost in the last few painful miles. Plenty of water and Powerade and the showers were most welcome. The finish worked like clockwork. Well done to all those involved, this event is sure to become one of the must do marathons in the UK. I will definately be back. Date of review: April 20, 2010

In short: Boring route, but a unique race distance In full: Very well organised and marshalled apart from the start, we were kept hanging around in a field with no shelter for too long, 50 mins from puttig kit on the baggage trucks to start - just as well it did'nt rain! The route was nice and flat with only a few bridges to go over but it was dulll dull dull. Good medal and long sleeve shirt in the goody bag. I would run it again but not for the scenery! In short: Hard, very hard!! In full: For my wife and I this was our debut into the mysterious world of off road raceing, and it was a superb race well done to all at the Chippenham Harriers, you guys certainly know how to lay on a great event. My only critism is could you please put the T shirt sizes on the race numbers, my wife wasnt too chuffed to be given an XL shirt because that was all that was left, my comment to her of "well run faster next time" didnt go down too well;0) Date of review: January 31, 2010
