In short: Contrary to a lot a comments I thoroughly enjoyed my 4th consecutive Cardiff HM, I regarded the dual carraigeway as a welcome challenge compared to the previous park routes which I find just as monotonous. 6.50 pace out of question first 3 miles due
In full: Compared to a lot of negative comments regarding this race my 4th time was an enjoyable race. I regarded the dual carraigeway as a challenge compared to previous park routes which I find monotonous. Started last year at a steady 6.50 pace, could'nt get nowhere near that first 3 miles - maybe my poor preparation due to injury or looking to pass the blame on congestion due to being eventually 9 mins outside pb. Looking forward to next year whatever the route.

In full: Spotted this run this last night on RW and glad I did although after a sat nav disaster I managed to get to the start on top of the hill with 3 mins to spare. A tidy and challenging gradient ridden run amongst some great scenery. A finish area in a field in a tent but t-shirt, bottled water, bananas, mars bars, tea/coffee and homemade cakes for finishers - 1st class race.

In short: A consistently well organised race year on year and 2011 was no different, a fast course and still good value.

In short: An undulating 10k run in a very pleasant area. Very well organised apart from the finish area resembling a supermarket queue due to goody bags being packed individually as finishers came through, probably better off making up the goody bags prior.

In short: Wet, windy, muddy with a couple of tidy gradients, what more could you ask for! Thoroughly enjoyable race and a thank you to marshalls who had to endure the weather conditions today.
